Music has been present in our lives from a very young age. We love to explore the creation of sounds, rhythms and beats. They are a way for us to express and release. Our musical journeys have lead us down many paths and ultimately to now perform together in a unified effort that is called Omvros (ὄμβρος).

Seb’s Musical Journey

Memoirs of a Saint

From the age of 15 I began to indulge with creating music. My first project was a school band project that consisted of three key members, myself (guitar), Dec Burdge aka Space Pope Junior (bass) and Greg want (drums). This initial creation was an output of pure express and joy. We formed a rock band named Memoirs of a Saint and this musical journey lasted a few years. These first years of musical creation provide the foundation of what it took to be part of a focused group with a common goal of sharing our love of music with all that would listen.

Brockley Forest

After Memoirs of a Saint disbanded in 2019, Dec and I focused on creating our own rock project and named it Brockley Forest. BF is a beautiful place located in North Somerset, where we spent most of a young adult years and shared many experiences. This is what the band was seeped in. The band latest 10 years and really was filled with some of the best experiences. Music is a journey from the soul to the mind, from the mind to the body and from the body to the instrument and in reverse. Music has helped me release and connect on some many various levels.

Seven Colour Drive

At the tail end of Brockley Forest, Seven Colour Drive was formed, an instrumental, experimental post rock band. This project amplified my music experience ten fold. It was a project of pure thought, feeling and emotion.

The ability to perform and create such experimental music is truly a gift, and to be able to connect with like minded musicians has its own magic.

Omvros (ὄμβρος)

Omvros is a progressive metal band with post rock influences. It took 5 years for us (Fra and Seb) to final unite and work together in this project alongside William Hensher and Loui.

Other musical outlets

We (Fra and Seb) occasionally play and perform as a duo, creating improvised songs and sets. We’ve had the pleasure of working with good friends such as Stuart Morrell, Jules Maas-Palmer, Two Headed Cobra and The Far Away Tree Therapies, who have all shared their musical talent with us in one way or another.
